These are some of the current AI sires in use at Froghollow.

Balamore Endeavor

Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled

Balamore Endeavor has been introduced to the Froghollow program for his depth, muscle yet softness. We only have a limited amount of semen so will wait to see his progeny in 2023.

LFLC Ace 750A

Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled

Ace has been the mainstay to our AI program for a number of years. His progeny have amazing length, softness, docility and milk. We now have a large number of Ace females working their way into the breeding herd. Limited semen is still available.

JYF Gentry 507G

Black / Homozygous Polled

JYF Gentry has been incorporated into the Froghollow program this year. His depth and softness will complement our current program and we will eagerly await the progeny in 2023.

Oakleigh Kingmaker

Black / Homozygous Polled

Oakleigh Kingmaker has been added to our AI sire group. This bull has been extensively used in both the Birubi and Mandayen herds with great success. His progeny display the thickness and length that this sire shows. Calves are on the ground and look fantastic.

Froghollow Foreman F563

Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled

Foreman was sold at the 2012 NLB sale selling to Bluff View Limousins. Froghollow retained  a 1/4 semen share to use in herd. This bull will add length, docility and growth with the added bonus of keeping all progeny black and polled.

East Coast Hector

Homozygous Black / Homozygous Polled

Once again a new sire this year to the Froghollow program. East Coast Hector was selected for his calving ease, muscle and length.

Balamore Gryphon 930G

Black / Homozygous Polled

Gryphon as been used lightly in 2022 to see what will work. Outcross genetics that will add length and milk to his progeny.  

Froghollow X-Man X114

Apricot / Polled

X-Man had a very successful show career only being beaten for the Grand Champion ribbon once.  Many of his progeny have followed in their sires foot steps in the show ring with progeny winning broad ribbons Melbourne, Sydney and Hamilton Beef Expo. He continues to leave his mark on the Froghollow herd along with many other breed leading Limousin programs.

Wulfs Zander X921Z

Black / Homozygous Polled

Zander is a vastly underrated bull. His progeny are docile, soft and he breeds bulls that will breed on both commercially and in the stud herd. We have used Zander for a number of years now and he never missed a beat.
